THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The Thunder Bay peewee Kings are off to Blaine, Minn., this weekend to compete in the fourth annual Minnesota Gone Wild tournament at the Schwan Super Rinks.

The peewees have four round robin games on their slate with nine clubs competing in the AAA division of the tourney.

Thunder Bay opens up play Friday at 9:20 a.m. as they take on the Orland Park Vikings from Illinois.

Game 2 on the day for the Kings has them facing off with the Illinois Falcons at 2:20 p.m.

Saturday’s slate has the peewees meeting the Arizona Bobcats at 3:55 p.m. before concluding the day vs. a third squad from Illinois, the Romeoville Huskies at 10:15 p.m..

Action Sunday for the Kings will be determined by the results of the earlier match-ups.
