Fifth Annual Thunder Pride Proclaimed

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Pride stylized flag and the Rainbow flag were raised at Thunder Bay City Hall this morning to celebrate the proclamation of Thunder Pride Week in the City of Thunder Bay.

Thunder Pride represents the celebration of diversity in our city for all who are here.

The annual Pride Week has grown substantially in the first five years, and has continued to help to make Thunder Bay a more accepting and diverse community.

This morning’s proclamation opens up to a week long celebration that will include the annual Pride Parade on June 13th, a Walk of Healing, Film Night, a Drag Extravaganza, Pub Night a Literary evening and many other events.
