THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Bill Bartley, the Chair of the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority discusses the decision by the LRCA to take down the Hazelwood Conservation Area building.

Chairman Bartley states it is a business decision, not made lightly that the Board is in full agreement in making.

The Board of the LRCA made the decision last fall after trying a number of different efforts to get the twenty-year-old building into a workable business model.

Right now Bartley explains, Habitat for Humanity will be working with LRCA in recycling as much of the material in the building as possible.
