Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – The TBPS Cyber Crime Unit began an investigation on February 25th, 2015 after receiving a referral from the Provincial Strategy on Child Pornography.

The referral indicated that an individual in Thunder Bay had been trading child pornography images with an undercover police officer in Switzerland.

As a result of the preliminary investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed on April 14, 2015 at a residence on the 700 block of John Street. During the search a laptop and a cell phone were seized and a twenty-year-old male who resides in the home was arrested.

Brandon Joey Valentino Desmoulin was escorted to the Balmoral Police station where he was charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography. He appeared in court and has been release with a future court date of May 12, 2015.
