Dryden OPP Charge Three in Drug Stop in Ignace

OPP Ontario Provincial PoliceDRYDEN – OPP CRIME REPORT – The Ontario Provincial Police in Dryden were conducting traffic enforcement on Tuesday March 24th, when they stopped a white Toyota car for a traffic violation on Highway 17 within the Township of Ignace.

Upon further investigation three occupants of the motor vehicle were found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

The driver Dwayne Brown from Kitchener, passenger Trysten Chase from North York and passenger Ann Marie Houston of Thunder Bay have all been charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and Trafficking in a controlled substance, cocaine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.

All three have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in Dryden on May 4, 2015 to answer to the charge.
