Warm temperatures in recent days have resulted in a significant melt of the snow pack; however, there is still above average snow pack in the upper watershed.

Area watercourses have risen over the weekend and have mostly stabilized and are currently below bank full conditions. Approximately 24 millimetres of mixed precipitation is forecasted tomorrow.

Precipitation mixed with snow melt could lead to a rapid rise in area watercourses.

The threat of localized ponding and flooding exists in low lying areas. The public is advised to exercise caution in and around area waterways.

A Watershed Conditions Statement-Flood Outlook provides early notice of the potential for flooding based on weather forecasts calling for heavy rain, snow melt, high wi nd or other condition s that could lead to high runoff or cause ice jams.

Authority Staff will continue to monitor conditions as part of its Flood Forecasting and Warning Program.

Updates will be provided as warranted.
