Thunder Bay Police seek public assistance.

THUNDER BAY – Crime News – Quick work by uniformed Thunder Bay Police officers has resulted in a fast arrest.

Police report that “Just after 2:00AM EDT officers responded to a break and enter in progress in the 1400 block of Hamilton Ave”.

Officers attended the location and immediately began a foot chase. A young adult male was attempting to run from the scene.

The suspect has been arrested and now faces charges for two break and enters in the area.

Police state that it is believed this male was also stealing from vehicles.

If anyone in the area notice articles missing from their vehicles in the Walsh Street and Franklin Street areas, they are requested to report this to Police.

The twenty-two-year old male suspect is well known to police.

He will be attending court later this date to answer to charges of break and enter and resisting arrest.
