THUNDER BAY – Councillor Aldo Ruberto was in Sault Ste Marie this week after the debate on the Event Centre last Monday night. The At-Large Councillor got a chance to tour the event centre in the Soo.
Ruberto says that Sault Ste Marie had many of the same issues ten years ago that Thunder Bay is having now.
The officials in the city stated to Ruberto that building their event centre downtown was the absolute best decision they could have made in Sault Ste Marie.
On the issue of parking, having a ‘parking problem’ is great officials told Ruberto. That means the project is successful and people are coming.
