New World Record for Fireworks

DUBAI – If you love fireworks, and who doesn’t? Then the place to be on New Year’s Eve was Dubai. A spectacular display of fireworks thrilled the tens of thousands of people lining 30 kilometres of shoreline. The massive display of fireworks which included 1200 shells exploding per second, for a total of six minutes also saw 400,000 shells launched into the perfect night sky.

Gala Dinner and Entertainment

There was a line-up of celebrity entertainers, including Swedish House Mafia’s DJ Axwell, Emeli Sandi and Paul Okenfold.

At the heart of the display was an amazing gala dinner hosted for guests along a 1.4 kilometre beach setting at the Atlantis, the Palm which offered its guests front row seats to watch the historic world record set.
