Border Cats Back to Baseball Action Tonight

THUNDER BAY – Sports – Northwoods League Baseball returns to Port Arthur Stadium tonight with the Border Cats ready to take on the Duluth Huskies. 

Led by Northwoods League All Star Game winning pitcher Zach Thiac the Cats will take to the diamond tonight at 7:05pm as they open a three game series against the Duluth Huskies.

These are the final games of the season series against Duluth, which the Cats lead 4-3.

The Cats need two wins to reclaim the Superior Cup from the Huskies.

Tonight is Country Music Night and fans will have a chance to win two tickets to the upcoming Dwight Yoakam concert courtesy of “The Thunder” 103.5FM.

It’s also Thirsty Thursday as adults can enjoy $4.00 Brava King Can Beer and $5.00/pound chicken wings from Daytona’s Restaurant and Catering on the Party Deck.

Gates open for the pre-game party at 5:30pm and the specials run right up until game time. Fans can also play Baseball Bingo tonight during the game presented by Thunder Bay Community Bingo.
