Sault Ste Marie PoliceSAULT STE MARIE – Sault Ste Marie Police report that on April 5, 2013 at 9:45PM, Sault Ste Marie Police  arrested and charged a female with assault with a weapon X 2 and Breach of Probation X 2.  It is alleged that she assaulted a female and male known to her by striking them with various items.  

Rebecca Fleming, 21 years, of 441 Queen St. West will be appearing in WASH Court on April 6, 2013.

 On April 5, 2013 at 11:00 p.m., City Police arrested and charged a 39 year old female in regard to a domestic assault.  It is alleged that she struck a male in the head with a beer bottle.  At the time, the accused was on a probation order with numerous conditions regarding the victim.  She is charged with assault with a weapon and Breach of Probation X 4.  The accused will be appearing in WASH court on April 6, 2013.

On Friday, 47 year old Carole Gaudette of 470 Pine St. was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and three counts of uttering a forged document. It is alleged that the accused while working for local church in the month of January she fraudulently wrote three cheques to herself and then cashed them. The total amount of money taken was $3,937.27.

Gaudette is scheduled to appear in court on May 13 2013.
