THUNDER BAY – On January 19, 2013, in a live take-off of the TV show Iron Chef, Veg Thunder Bay (Vegan Education Group) in partnership with Confederation College Culinary Management Program will host an unforgettable culinary event: Thunder Bay’s first annual Vegan Iron Chef Competition.
The finalists who will be displaying their unique take on vegan cuisine are:
• Clint Harris
• Tina Gibson and Jesse McIntosh
• Margot Freitag
• Marc Hardiejowski and Cassandra Riddle
• Chelsea Monteith and Cheryl Gregory
Admission: $15 (Vegan Iron Chef After Party); $20 (Vegan Iron Chef Cook-off and After Party). Tickets will be available starting on November 15th at the following locations: Bonobo’s Foods, Kelly’s Nutrition, The Green House, Nutrition Corner and Steeper’s.
Vegan Iron Chef Thunder Bay is hosted in affiliation with Vegan Iron Chef, a nonprofit organization based in Portland, OR, with a mission of spreading the message of veganism by showcasing the art of vegan cuisine and celebrating community.
