THUNDER BAY – The efforts to raise the needed money for flood relief in Thunder Bay to help victims of the horrific flooding in the community continues. The Disaster Relief Efforts were really kicked off by radio stations CKPR, Rock 94, and 103.5 The Thunder, part of Dougall Media in Thunder Bay.

A quarter of a million dollars was raised in a twelve hour radio-a-thon hosted at Intercity Shopping Centre by energetic radio hosts who put together the project on very short notice.

The team at Dougall Media have produced a video that shares the message of that day, and of the ongoing efforts to help raise the needed money.

Today the efforts and spirit of that day are needed as much today, as they were that day.

Dougall Media’s video has received support in being the Winning Video at the Ontario Association of Broadcasters’ Community Awards- for the One Day In May story.

Your help can make a difference.

To make a donation visit City of Thunder Bay Flood Relief.

Congratulations to Dougall Media for a super video about this tragedy and the need in our community.
