The Sleeping Giant THUNDER BAY – It is an announcement that has been promised for a long time. On Wednesday, September 12th in front of the CN Station at the Waterfront, the hotelier will be announced.

Mayor Keith Hobbs, Councillor Mark Bentz, Chair, Waterfront Development Committee, Gisele MacDonald, President, Re Solve Group Inc. and a Senior Representatives from the Hotelier will be on hand.

Over the summer the waterfront has increasingly become a focal point for people across the city. Action at the splash pad in the summer, the skating rink in the winter, along with the movies over the past several weeks have brought thousands of people to the park.

The condos and hotel have been seen as key components of the project, although they have been the source of serious debate over the past several years.
