MANITOWADGE – Events – The Manitouwadge Economic Development Corporation will facilitate a BIZ KID$ CAMP in Manitouwadge this summer. This project was made possible by a Superior North CFDC Local Initiatives Contribution.
The Local Initiatives Contribution program is funded by FedNor.
This camp will be run from August 13 – 17, 2012 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
BizKid$ Camp introduces youth ages 9-12 to values, attitudes, qualities and skills needed to be successful in today’s economy. High energy games, activities and workshops challenge every participant to discover his/her entrepreneurial self.
Campers gain a basic overview of business and entrepreneurship through exciting, interactive games and presentations from entrepreneurs in our community. Campers will choose a business at the beginning of the week and work towards Market Day, which is held at the end of the week!
If the camper has a profitable business, he/she keeps all the money.
