Crimebeat – Search Warrant results in charges

NNLCRIMEbeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – A search warrant was executed by the Thunder Bay Police Guns and Gangs Unit in the city’s north end during the night. A twenty-nine year old Thunder Bay man is facing a number of charges as a result. Officers arrested the male in his apartment in the 100 block of Court Street South and seized $7,320 in cash along with 240 grams of Marijuana with an approximate street value of $3,600.

The male was charged with Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Prohibited Weapon (brass knuckles). The accused was released on a Promise to Appear for a future court date.
