THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Marathon – Miles with the Giant has opened registration for this year’s event. As well, the annual marathon will receive a boost from the Ontario Government. Bill Mauro MPP – Thunder Bay Atikokan shares, “Through Celebrate Ontario our government is helping to support the Thunder Bay Marathon – Miles with the Giant. The marathon will receive $40,000”.
“I want to congratulate the organizers and volunteers,” added Mauro. “The marathon is held in Thunder Bay. I’ve had the pleasure of participating”.
Mauro addes, “The race is a loop course on what I think is a stunning track. The past 2 races have been a huge success”.
This coming week, the organizing committee will host an event to unveil the new course for this year’s event.
