Early Morning Robbery at the Mac’s Mart

MacsTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police responded to an early morning robbery at the Macs Mart located on the city’s south side. Just after 3:00 a.m. police attended the Macs Mart at 1500 South James Street to take a report of a robbery. A male armed with a knife and his head covered by a hood entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes. The employee complied and was not injured during this incident. The suspect was last seen heading eastbound on Frederica St.

Police are looking for a 30 to 35 year old Caucasian male described as clean shaven, approximately 6 feet tall, slim and wearing a grey hoodie with a Nike swoosh over the left chest.
