Anishinabek Police MP KaitlynTHUNDER BAY — The Anishinabek Police Service is asking for the public’s help locating Kailyn, a 14-year-old from Fort William First Nation.

Police say Kailyn was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, near the roundabout in the Cumberland Street North and Water Street South area, close to Thunder Bay’s marina.

Attempts to confirm her whereabouts have been unsuccessful, and police have concerns for her safety.

Kailyn is described as:

  • Indigenous female, 14 years old
  • Approximately five feet four inches tall
  • Approximately 120 pounds, with a medium build
  • Long, straight black hair
  • Brown eyes

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and bright blue sweatpants.

Anyone with information about Kailyn’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122.

Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or through Ontario Crime Stoppers.

Police remind residents that there is no 24-hour waiting period to report someone missing. Anyone can make a report. If someone may be in immediate danger, call 911.
