TbaytelTHUNDER BAY – Work on upgrading the Tbaytel wireless network in Thunder Bay continues. As first reported in September, Tbaytel is installing new towers in the city.

The company reports, “With two new sites launched in the Balmoral & Walkover areas, and the continuing installation of second carrier service, there have been substantial improvements in network performance”.

A network optimization program will now begin to further enhance quality of service. Work continues in the areas of Hardisty, Confederation College and Pinedale.

Tbaytel asks that customers “Please continue to help us identify specific coverage concerns by completing the 4G HSPA+ Network Coverage Feedback Form (http://tbaytel.net/4gnetworkstatus/#form).

By sharing the information on any coverage concerns that you have directly with Tbaytel, you are able to help the company identify areas that need attention.
