Early Results at 9:26PM have Liberals Leading in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – The Polls across the province have, for the most part closed. There is one Northwestern Ontario poll in Kenora Rainy River which is going to stay open for an extra half hour. Elections Ontario however is reporting problems with their computers which could slow results coming out tonight.

Early results have the Liberals ahead with 32 Elected and Leading as of 9:20PM. The Conservatives are elected and leading in 25 seats. The NDP are elected and leading in 8 seats.

In Thunder Bay Atikokan with 11 of 148 Polls in Bill Mauro is in the lead with 292 votes (40.56%) NDP candidate Mary Kozorys is in second with 270 votes (37.5%) and Fred Gilbert is third with 139 votes (19.31%)

Thunder Bay Superior North with 13 of 174 polls has Michael Gravelle in the lead with 484 votes (49.95%) followed by NDP candidate Steve Mantis with 312 (32.28%) and Anthony LeBlanc holding 177 votes (15.36%).
