THUNDER BAY – The communities of Pickle Lake, Osnaburgh House First Nation, and Cat Lake First Nation are without power. Hydro One reports that a forest fire near Ear Falls has destroyed power lines into those communities. Fire-fighting efforts are continuing on the fire, but Hydro One crews have been unable to access the damage fully as of yet, or set a firm date for restoration of service to the communities.
