THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay will be choosing its Mayor, Councillors, and School Trustees tonight. The official results will be announced on Wednesday. John Hannam the City Clerk and Returning Officer has, through the day offered updates on the number of voters turning out.

It is starting to look like it will be a long night in Thunder Bay waiting for some results.

Polling results have yet to come in. It appears that some polls had a surge toward the end of the day and will be slow to close.

Richard “Chef House” Moorey commented that polls had to be kept open for an extra hour at some polling stations.

At 8:55PM Moorey says that voters are still lined up.

A call to City Clerk John Hannam led to voicemail.
