THUNDER BAY – From the very early results, it appears that voters in Thunder Bay have voted for change atop City Hall. Keith Hobbs with 8 out of 421 polls reporting has a lead over Lynn Peterson of over 1000 votes.

Hobbs              3752    44.61%

Peterson          2631   31%

Pullia               1421     16.8%

Sources in the Hobbs campaign had reported strong polling numbers across the city. Campaign Manager Scott Hobbs commented that they had led in every online poll over the summer.

The results are still early, and should be starting to flood in quickly.

In the Red River Ward there appears to be a three way horse race with first results having incumbent Brian McKinnon in tie with Paul Wolfe and with Jay Stapleton only behind by a few votes.
