THUNDER BAY – The World Fishing Network is looking for the ultimate fishing destination. Tyson Degiacomo says, “I think Thunder Bay has the most amazing lakes within a short driving distance. Come Friday in Thunder Bay it is common place to see the local gas stations lined up with trucks and boats with anglers of all ages getting ready to hit the lakes. I have always loved fishing and think it is the best way to spend time with family and friends. Locally you can find many organizations that help the fishing community, from Team NOSA to O.F.A.H members are plentiful”.
“We are known for having some of the best Walleye (pickerel) fishing in the world, I think if you have ever fished in or around Thunder Bay you would agree that we are Canada’s Ultimate fishing town!,” added Degiacomo in nominating our city.
