THUNDER BAY – A local organization, Opportunity Thunder Bay, which is a strong advocate for new development in Thunder Bay have started the process of a new initiative.
The goal, states, Opportunity Thunder Bay Co-founder Jason Susin, “Will bring Thunder Bay into the age of Skyscrapers and Glass mirrored towers”.
Centre-Core spearheaded by Susin will determine by independent study if citizens in Thunder Bay want a new Central downtown core that has no height restrictions and anchors Intercity with Heart of the Harbour.
Susin says the time is right, “Victoria Village is a heritage Core with boutiques and City administration, But for Centre- Core we have the process started on the Waterfront and the next big question will be the Multi-use Convention Centre, something that belongs Centrally and Downtown”.
