Get Ready – Go Fly a Kite!

THUNDER BAY – You are invited to “Go fly a kite”. The Thunder Bay Kite Festival is an annual classic, and this year it is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Featuring guest kite flyers from Toronto, Kitchener and New York. The experts will be demonstrating their exciting giant kite displays.

The event will also include kite building activities, crafts, face painting, games, contests, and entertainment suitable for all ages.

Everything takes off on Sunday, May 30th starting at 12:00 noon and going on until 4:00PM at Chippewa Park.

There will be a free Thunder Bay Transit Shuttle Bus service to Chippewa Park every 40 minutes from the Intercity, City Hall, and the Brown and Frederica transit stops.
