TakingITGlobal Seeks Youth to Celebrate Human Rights


THUNDER BAY – The team from TakingITGlobal share, “We’re writing to invite you to EVOKE your human rights perspective as part of a national art contest and collection! http://www.evokeart.ca

TakingITGlobal, in partnership with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, are inviting Canadian youth aged 13-25 to share digital art reflecting on the past, present and future of human rights.

A winner from each province and territory will travel to Winnipeg during the weekend of July 3, 2010 and have their art exhibited in front of thousands of people at a ceremony for the new Canadian Museum for Human Rights! The contest opens today and closes May 25th, 2010.

This is your chance to express yourself and be heard so join us and get involved!
