Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 14 (fourteen) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region.

There are 143 current active cases of the virus in the district.

Ten of the new cases are part of the outbreak at the Thunder Bay District Jail. Three cases are from close contact, and on has no known exposure.

14 cases have been resolved.

Southbridge Roseview is in a confirmed COVID-19 outbreak with 1 active resident and 1 active staff case. This staff member is currently isolating and recovering at home.

Ontario Provincial Numbers

Across Ontario, there are 1,848 new cases of COVID-19. 

In the hot spots, there are 726 new cases in Toronto, 306 in Peel and 168 in York Region.
