Sioux Lookout OPP Arrest Impaired Driver

Too many drivers seem to be willing to risk it when it comes to impaired driving

Sioux Lookout, ON-  At 11:02 pm on December 2, 2017, the Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Drayton Road in the Municipality of Sioux Lookout.

The driver of the vehicle was Sean GAUDRY (50 years old). GAUDRY was impaired from the consumption of alcohol and arrested for the same. He was transported to the Sioux Lookout OPP detachment where he provided samples of his breath to police.

The samples revealed that he had over the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. GAUDRY was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired as well as operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

GAUDRY was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Sioux Lookout Court on January 2, 2018.

Police are asking anyone that sees a suspected impaired driver to phone 9-1-1 and report it to police.
