Thunder Bay, ON – As part of their 24-date Canadian tour, female fronted punk rock trio, Kill Matilda will be making a stop in Thunder Bay, Friday, March 28 at Black Pirates Pub (215 Red River Road).

Hosted by Wiggins Pro-Ductions, the show will help promote KM’s latest work, #punk #zombie #rocknroll. Opening the night will be local hockey rockers, The Bay Street Bastards, and TBay’s punk rock family band, Forever Dead.

Comprised of Dusty Exner (vocals/guitar), Mykel Exner (bass) and Marcus Luk (drums), Kill Matilda has been touring and moving around their native country relentlessly over the last few years, calling B.C., Quebec and Ontario home while making it exceptionally clear that they mean business.

As their journey continues, the band is gearing up once again to hit the road in promotion of their new release #punk #zombie #rocknroll, a six song EP/ re-release that features tracks from their 2011 full-length album ‘I Want Revenge’ with an acoustic rendition of ‘Geisha With A Switchblade’. Also in the plans for later this year, the band will be releasing their yet to be titled follow up EP produced by producer extraordinaire, Garth Richardson.

“The amazing attention of Garth Richardson! Although this man has produced so many amazing albums and we’re not the only band getting some attention and love, he took the extra steps to personally engineer our new album, which is something he has not done in like, 10 years or something. That makes me feel very, very special,” says Dusty.

RIYL: Hole, The Distillers, The Misfits, The Offspring, Paramore.

Doors open at 10pm. Cover is $5. Age of majority required. For more information, visit Facebook.com/TBshows.”
