2017 Remembrance Day Services

THUNDER BAY – Live from the Fort William Gardens the 2017 Remembrance Day Services presented by NetNewsLedger.

Lest we forget! Every year, Remembrance Day takes on an increasingly special role in the lives of our citizens.

That role continues to grow even though the number of surviving veterans from World War II and Korea are slowly dropping in numbers.

Across Canada, young people are taking the torch and remembering the efforts of all of the brave men and women who served in Canada’s Army, Air Force, and Navy.

In Thunder Bay, large crowds gather at all the Remembrance Day Services. Thousands come out at Fort William Gardens. Hundreds at Waverley Park, and large numbers up on the mountain at Fort William First Nation.

NetNewsLedger will carry the Remembrance Day Services from Fort William Gardens live again this year. This is the 6th year that NetNewsLedger has carried this important event live reaching out to the city and region.
