Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME News – On November 19, 2014, Detectives from the TBPS Cyber Crime Unit were monitoring file sharing networks and observed an offer to download suspected child pornography form a local I.P. address.

The investigation led to a search warrant being executed on December 17, 2014 at a residence located on Lake Street. The search resulted in the discovery of child pornography being located on a computer in the residence. The computer, two external hard drives and two UBS flash drives were seized for further examination.

Thirty-year-old Justin John Mach was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography. He appeared in court this morning and has been released. He will be back in court on January 9, 2015.
