Fort Worth, Texas (March 16, 2026) – The adrenaline will surge deep into the night as the 2026 UBF Midnight Bullfight charges into historic Cowtown Coliseum for two electrifying performances on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 at 11:30 p.m.
Held during the biggest week in Western sports – the renowned PBR World Finals – the Ultimate Bullfighters (UBF) Midnight Bullfight delivers a late-night spectacle unlike anything else on dirt…or any other surface.
The UBF Midnight Bullfight showcases the most extreme athletes in Western sports in a high-energy, team-based format. Two teams go head-to-head in fast-paced, unscripted “bull games” designed by the athletes themselves.
These competitors facing powerful, unpredictable bulls attempt daring tricks and gravity-defying stunts while racing to complete outrageous challenges. Through every raw moment, fans are treated to freestyle chaos, daring athleticism, and midnight madness rolled into one unforgettable experience.
The exclusive Invitational event features the 12 best freestyle bullfighters in the world. The elite field will include past and current UBF World Champions along with top contenders in the 2026 UBF title race, all battling for crucial points as the season reaches its most pivotal stretch.
Closing the 2026 season, The UBF Midnight Bullfight will culminate in a historic milestone: more than $1 million in total prize money paid out, marking the first time in the sport’s history that freestyle bullfighting has surpassed the million-dollar mark in a single season.
Tickets start at $46.66 and go on sale on March 13 at the Cowtown Coliseum Box Office or CowtownColiseum.com.
“UBF Midnight Bullfight has become a signature of World Finals week because it represents the fearless, high-adrenaline spirit that Western sports fans love,” said Sean Gleason, CEO of Professional Bull Riders. “The Ultimate Bullfighters continue to push theboundaries of athleticism and entertainment, and bringing this level of freestyle competition to Cowtown Coliseum during the PBR World Finals creates an unforgettable experience for our fans.”
Also confirmed is reigning 2025 UBF World Champion Cache Dunn, continuing a powerful family legacy.
His father, Rex Dunn, was a world champion bullfighter who worked the National Finals Rodeo and was inducted into the PRCA Hall of Fame.  Dunn trained countless bullfighters and served as the primary mentor to legendary PBR bullfighter Frank Newsom. The Dunn name remains synonymous with excellence and toughness in the arena, and Cache now carries that tradition into the Midnight Bullfight spotlight.
In addition, several PBR cowboys will appear as special guests, adding star power to the event. As team captains, they’ll deliver strategy, sideline energy, and plenty of friendly trash talk throughout the competition.
Ultimate Bullfighters produces more than 50 events annually across the country, continuing to elevate freestyle bullfighting as one of the fastest-growing properties in Western sports.
The UBF Sunday Bull Games Series — a bi-monthly residency at Cowtown Coliseum — showcases the same electric, athlete-driven format featured at Midnight Bullfight, giving fans year-round access to the action in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards.
