ATIKOKAN — The shelter-in-place advisory remains in effect as Ontario Provincial Police continue investigating an incident involving two possibly armed individuals believed to be at large.
Police describe the suspects as male, wearing dark clothing and masks.
What residents should do

Continue to shelter-in-place if you are in the affected area.

Stay indoors with doors and windows locked, and blinds/curtains closed.

If you are outside, seek shelter immediately in a secure location.

Avoid the area until further notice if you are not already in the affected zone.

If you must go to work despite the advisory, follow your workplace shelter-in-place policy.

Do not approach or engage the suspect(s).

Call 9-1-1 immediately if you see them or notice anything suspicious.
