THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – A Yellow Freezing Rain Warning is in effect for Kakabeka Falls – Whitefish Lake – Arrow Lake, with intermittent freezing rain expected Saturday morning into Saturday evening.

Even if ice buildup is light, brief freezing rain can quickly create slick roads, sidewalks, and especially bridges/overpasses.

With the alerts already issued for Atikokan, and Ignace it is likely travel along Highway 11 and Highway 17. While there currently as of 8:30 PM no advisories in effect for Thunder Bay, at least yet.
