Thunder Bay – NEWS – The City of Thunder Bay advises the public of a temporary overnight closure of the McKellar Bridge scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, from 7 pm – 3 am, to accommodate necessary paving work at both approaches to the bridge.
The closure is weather permitting and is required to complete two lifts of asphalt as part of ongoing improvements to the bridge deck. If unfavourable weather prevents work from proceeding on July 8, efforts will be made to reschedule for the following evening, Wednesday, July 9, during the same hours.
The City appreciates the patience and cooperation of all residents and commuters as this work is completed to enhance road safety and improve infrastructure.
