Incident reported at Cumberland Street South business; BEAR Unit leading follow-up

THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Police Service say officers are continuing to investigate a robbery reported on the city’s north end.

Police were called just after noon on December 30, 2025, after a robbery was reported at a business on Cumberland Street South.

Officers attended the scene, spoke with staff, and determined no one was injured. Police say the suspect had left the area before officers arrived.

BEAR Unit Assigned to the Case

The Thunder Bay Police Service Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit has taken over the ongoing investigation.
