Thunder Bay Police respond to Algoma & Munro just before 10 p.m.; pedestrian taken to TBRHSC

THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating a serious auto–pedestrian collision on the city’s north side.

Officers from the Primary Response Unit were dispatched to the intersection of Algoma Street and Munro Street just before 10:00 p.m. last night following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for evaluation and treatment. The extent of injuries has not been released.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
