Vermilion Bay and Dryden – WEATHER –  A Special Weather Statement is in effect for localized heavy rainfall. Here’s the forecast for today and tomorrow, so you can plan your day accordingly:

Today: Starting at a mild +14°C, temperatures are expected to rise to a high of 21°C later in the day. The sky will be cloudy, and you can expect showers, at times heavy, beginning this morning and ending this afternoon. There’s also a risk of a thunderstorm during the morning and early afternoon hours, potentially bringing local amounts of 15 to 25 mm of rain. Winds will become southeast at 20 km/h. The humidex will make it feel like 26°C. The UV index is low at 2.

Tonight: As night falls, the sky will remain cloudy, becoming partly cloudy later in the evening. The temperature will drop to a milder 17°C, making it a relatively mild night.

Monday, 2 Oct: Monday brings a mix of weather. Showers are expected to end near noon, followed by mainly cloudy skies. There’s still a risk of a morning thunderstorm, with local amounts of 5 to 10 mm of rain. Winds will shift, becoming southwest at 20 km/h late in the morning. High temperatures will rise to 24°C, with the humidex making it feel like 29°C. The UV index increases slightly to 3, indicating moderate exposure to the sun.
