500 Donald Street East report that the city is working to recover water levels of Boulevard Lake. Overnight last night, the gates at Boulevard Lake were lowered without authority, causing the lake to drain.

While the gates have been raised, it is not yet known how long it may take for water levels to recover. More information will be provided as it becomes available. In the meantime, an investigation into the circumstances of the lowering of the gates is under way.
