Red Lake OPP Respond to 194 Calls for Service This Week

RED LAKE – NEWS – Over the past week, officers from the Red Lake/Ear Falls/Pikangikum Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 194 calls for service.

Police responded to a variety of calls and laid 53 charges under the Criminal Code, 1 under the Smoke Free Ontario Act and 2 under the Highway Traffic Act.

Some of the calls police attended were:

·        23 Police assistance

·        19 Liquor Licence Act

·        16 Unwanted Persons

·        14 Assaults

·        8 Domestic Disputes

·        6 Mental Health

·        5 Impaired Driving

·        4 Bail Violations

·        4 Thefts

·        2 Sudden Deaths

·        2 Noise Complaints

·        2 Mischiefs
