The GCP Foundation (Grand City Properties Foundation) is proud to once again support Talentsportverein Mainz e.V. and the club’s youth soccer players. GCP’s recent donation allowed the Bundesliga soccer club to purchase a mobile sales cart for youth soccer player development. The mobile sales cart will provide the young athletes and soccer spectators on the sidelines with snacks and fresh drinks.

In 2020, Mainz Football Club received financial support from the GCP Foundation which allowed it to purchase new footballs and mobile soccer goals. The items were used in the training of youth soccer players who may someday make their way to Mainz’s first-team as professionals. While making it to professional soccer is the dream of many, the equipment purchased with the donations from GCP simply allows many young players to participate in the game they love.

The GCP Foundation regularly supports social projects and institutions with financial donations throughout Germany. GCP Foundation’s work with Mainz Football Club once again shows the group’s desire to work within local communities to make them stronger for the future.

“Club sport, regardless of what it is, offers space to be active, to exchange ideas and to practice team cohesion – especially for the young athletes,” Katrin Petersen, spokeswoman for GCP, said. “It is great to see that the talent at Mainz Football Club gets financial backing for its important work with youngsters and is able to connect with kids locally.”
