Break-In at Saint Ignatius High School Results in Two Youth Arrested

Thunder Bay – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police officers responded to an alarm call at Saint Ignatius High School at 2:25 am on Sunday October 10, 2021. Officers observed two individuals within the school. A 16-year-old male and a 12-year-old female were taken into custody as they attempted to exit the building.

The 16-year-old male was charged with:
• Breaking and Entering
• Possession of Break-in Instruments

The 12-year-old female was charged with:
• Breaking and Entering

Both youths were released on Undertakings with future court dates. The male and female cannot be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
