fire protection

Thunder Bay – As communities in the far north brace for the problems created by wild fires, there are essential workers and firefighters who have remained behind.

In some northern communities, including Deer Lake First Nation this approach is already being deployed.

There are tremendous resources going into making a difference in the North in fighting these fires.
