Thunder Bay – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph’s Care Group announce that the outbreak at Bethammi Nursing Home, in Thunder Bay is now over.
Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place at Bethammi Nursing Home to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility. Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.
Bethammi Nursing Home participated in the initial roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination program for Long-Term Care Homes.
