DULUTH MN – WEATHER – NOAA Duluth is calling for Light to moderate snow through the Northland today into this evening.

The weather service says that most areas can expect from 2 to 4 inches with far northern Minnesota closer to 1 to 3 inches. Locally higher amounts are expected along the North Shore of Lake Superior where lake and terrain enhancement will add to the snow amounts.

This morning, most areas were under clear skies with cold temperatures.

The focus shifts to snow this afternoon into tonight.

The length of southerly onshore flow will be somewhat limited, lasting longest along the Cook County shore in Minnesota.

Environment Canada is calling for snow in Western Ontario starting around midnight on December 29, 2020, with overnight snowfall amounts of 5 centimetres expected.
