14 New Cases of COVID-19 and One More Death from the Virus

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports 14 new cases of COVID-19 this morning.

Province wide, Ontario is reporting more 2,202 new cases of the COVID-19 virus. This is the 8th day that the total cases have been over 2000.

Most of the new cases are in Toronto (636), followed by Peel Region (504), and York Region (218).

An additional 21 people have died as a result of the virus. There is an added death here in Thunder Bay.

Of the new cases reported today, 13 are as a result of close contact and the 14th is pending. All of the cases are in the Thunder Bay and Surrounding Communities.

There are currently 98 active cases of the virus in the region.
