Serious Motor Vehicle Collision at John and Ray Police Still on Scene

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Emergency first responders were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle collision on John Street near Ray Boulevard just after 4:20 am EDT on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020.

Thunder Bay Police Service’s Traffic Unit is currently still at the scene and investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

When police arrived they located a male with serious injuries. Paramedics with the Superior North EMS transported the victim to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further treatment of those injuries.

The involved motorist remained at the scene.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area of John Street and Ray Boulevard as police continue to process the scene.
