10:49 PM May 27, 2020 – Severe Thunder Storm Warning Sachigo Lake and Bearskin Lake

SACHIGO LAKE – BEARSKIN LAKE – WEATHER – As of 10:49 PM a SEVERE Thunder Storm Warning has been issued by Environment Canada for Bearskin Lake and Sachigo Lake.

Environment Canada states: “A severe thunderstorm is currently located northwest of Muskrat Dam. Wind gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour have been reported at Sandy Lake and Muskrat Dam this evening. This thunderstorm may move through Sachigo Lake later this evening as it continues northeastward.”

Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
